  • Workshop sessions at Caranina Jewellery Studio are private - no pressure to make small talk with other attendees or be nervous of who will be there. You can book solo or book with 2-3 people you know who love getting creative.  

  • You lead the design decision making. You aren’t stuck making something that’s just copying a sample piece step by step. We offer undivided attention on your ring or charm so you can create exactly what you have in mind.

  • You are welcome to ask more in depth questions about the process and goldsmithing in general.

Molten Landscapes Workshop

An exploration of form, this class builds rings and charms in a freeform style using melted wax rather than carving the wax. Expect your piece to feel a bit wild, unexpected, and unique to you.

Get yourself out of your usual routine and make something that you get to keep forever. It’s so easy to get comfy in the usual work week monotony. Mix it up with some time dedicated just for you or quality time spent with a loved one trying a new activity together. (Think back to making friendship bracelets with your best friends, but these pieces will last wayyyy longer than cotton thread).

Carved by M, we love a signet ring with a fun face shape. A fish ring always captures our heart.

Made by E, she changed up the profile for her “signet ring” with two joining faces at the centre with her own engraved stars on each side, cast in 10k yellow gold for her heirloom pinky ring.

Carved meticulously by V, the most perfect banana ring we ever did see. 

A classic rectangular signet ring carved by J with the special addition of a professional hand engraving ”Lucky!” added on top. A treasure forever in 14k yellow gold.

Carved with his mum in mind, K crafted this special dumpling charm. Perfectly round with folded edges.

A raspberry so juicy, M put together a well textured raspberry - accent leaves and all. 

C and S created complimentary wedding bands to each other’s designs, with C having sapphires added into her band to sit to the side of the engagement ring.

Handmade wedding rings for L and B, each carving their own that compliment each other so well, with each other’s fingerprints front and centre on their rings.

A funky futuristic designed ring handmade by R to add to her sterling silver ring collection.

Hand crafted by A, she treated herself to a gold ring for her 30th birthday and created special as a momento of the decade to come.
